Cavaliers' new cricket field is starting to look like something!

A few months ago in one of our previous posts we mentioned "We are the first cricket club in Saskatchewan to build a private cricket field", as one of the reasons why our club is the most progressive cricket club in Regina. Today we're excited to give everyone an update on the progress of our new field 30km east of Regina. 

As you'll see from the photos above, the grass we planted with the help of a local farmer, has taken root. Thanks to favourable weather, it is looking pretty thick. 

By the looks of it, we will likely be able to start practicing and playing games on our new field at the start of next summer! 

Plans are in place to start constructing an artificial turf pitch early next summer.
